Service, Parts & Technical Support
We offer a complete package of after-sales and service backup, either at your location or from our workshops located in Essex. This includes routine servicing and repair, LOLER inspection (*see below), spare parts supply and technical support via telephone.
If you would like your Spiderlift to receive our expert attention and be looked after on your behalf, then we can tailor an ‘ad-hoc’ or fixed term service agreement to include service and LOLER inspection.
Perhaps you are a hire fleet, or business with your own workshop staff? Then we can offer technical training for you to look after your own equipment and back this up with telephone technical support.
We carry an extensive stock of spare parts in our stores for all models of CMC Spiderlift and our aim is to back up the products we sell with next day delivery of all components and wear & tear items.
*LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. Spiderlifts fall under these regulations. LOLER states that lifting equipment designed for lifting personnel must receive a Thorough Examination by a competent person every 6 months.

We provide operator and demonstrator training to IPAF standards on all types of MEWP, plus bespoke and specialist training for the Spiderlift user.
Training in the use of mechanical equipment is of key importance nowadays and is a requirement of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). Indeed many worksites will not allow the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) without sufficient proof of formal training.
The most widely recognised standards for MEWP training is that accredited by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). Our Instructors are qualified and accredited.
In addition, we can supply technical training on CMC Spiderlift models for engineers and service personnel.
